Cruise Destinations

The destinations listed here are the most common found on any Nile cruise itinerary. They represent some of the most famous ancient Egyptian monuments and are located along the stretch of the Nile between Luxor and Aswan.

For most cruises, the starting port will be Luxor. However, it is important to note that cruises can be subject to alteration, local factors and may take place in a different order to the list given below. One thing that may affect your cruise itinerary is the time of year. Esna lock closes during June and in early December and during this period cruises depart from Esna rather than Luxor.
